Our Story
The Story of Bamboogoo
Bamboogoo was born out of quiet frustration and a clear vision for something better.
As artists, we were tired of using and recommending thick, synthetic creams never intended for healing tattoos. Products that smelled harsh, felt heavy, and were originally designed for everything from nappy rash to burns. They didn’t belong on fresh ink. And more importantly, they didn’t honour the skin beneath it.
We saw the problem. And we didn’t copy what was already on the shelves — we built what was missing.
While others rebrand existing formulas or follow fleeting trends, we created something original: a tattoo and laser aftercare that respects the healing process, supports the skin barrier, and feels like a luxury to use — not a compromise.
It had to be natural, not just by label but by logic.
It had to smell clean, not medicinal.
It had to be light, non-clogging, and designed specifically for healing tattooed and sensitised skin.
And it had to be made with intention — from the ingredients to the packaging.
Then came bamboo.
A powerful botanical long revered for its regenerative strength, calming properties, and skin-loving benefits. The more we studied it, the more we realised: this ingredient deserved centre stage.
So we built Bamboogoo around it — a new standard in skin recovery, designed by artists, backed by nature, and made to restore.
Today, Bamboogoo is more than a product — it’s a response.
To synthetic fillers. To soulless formulas. To brands more interested in trends than truth.
